4.10.02 - Currently i am in Del Mar, California, visiting some family and doing a little work on a web site for my father's woody wagon restoration biz. Though not yet published, his new URL will be www.wagonmasters.net.

Last weekend, we went to the classic car show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. There were over 1000 pre-'64 classic cars there, including Corbin's '51 Ford woody, a really sweet restoration of a '55 Porsche Spyder ala James Dean, and other rods. I snapped a few pics below.

This weekend i'm going to see the Jayhawks at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. Maybe i'll have some shots of the show up next week.

In September 1955 James Dean bought a silver Porsche 550 Spyder, he had the number 130 painted on the hood, and on the back end of the car, he had painted his nickname from the set of Giant, "Little Bastard".
